SILK: "First Light" Fashion Show F2024

For two months until November 2024, I worked with a working group of over 30 individuals. The show featured an art gallery, short film showing, and runway fashion show featuring 12 looks. Here's what I did!

Designer Outreach Lead

Led a team of 6 members, liaised with ~20 brands and designers, arranged transportation and garment handling for garments

Styling Team

Styled garments with accessories, managed garment maintenance and preparation leading up to and on the day of the show, coordinated with different teams on look designs

Model & Make-up Artist

Modeled a gown by Parsons graduate. The gown had bone and skeleton shapes and was floor-length with a trail. As one of three MUAs, I did make-up for a team of 12 models, focusing on natural and glam looks to emphasize the stylistic qualities of each look.

Art Presented

My charcoal painting "Alice Through the Looking Glass" was presented in the art gallery. The painting can be found in my portfolio under the General Art Projects page.
